It is sort of funny to think how little has changed in the past year. A year ago, when we were living in the RV, we would take late night trips to Walmart or Home Depot to purchase space heaters, to try and keep our pipes from freezing.
This week we had to do it again.
Last year, we had to use our neighbors shower.
This year we would of had to do it again but I chose not to bathe instead.
Winter has hit us hard this week. With temperatures at -10 and below, we are experiencing a good winter in the Rockies. It is so cold outside right now (how cold is it...)
That I just saw a neighborhood squirrel thawing his nuts on our dryer vent.
I'm not going to lie. I was recently watching The Road, the latest James Bond installment and thought, I could do this. If you haven't seen the latest Bond epic, it is a unique collaboration between the Bond franchise and the Left Behind franchise. James Bond is a homeless man, living it post apocalyptic America. After seeing this film, I thought to myself, I could live in a frigid post apocalyptic world and survive. But than, as I was taking off my bath robe to get in the shower, the water only trickled out, I looked at the water and then I looked down and thought hmmm I don't remember Misty bleaching my hairy white t-shirt. And that is when two things occurred to me. I was looking at my bare belly and again, and my pipes were frozen. So I looked up to the heavens and cursed old man winter. It was then and there I decided I hated winter. So I did what any self respecting pale albino would do, and I slathered my belly with Misty's tinted moisturizer. Now if anyone looks at my belly, they will think to themselves I wonder if that frozen bloated carcass is of Pacific Islander descent.
